My Bio

I am Rakesh. I began my professional journey in 2007 as a software engineer and have since grown to lead a number of projects, teams and built products applying the agile product management principles. I have been an entrepreneur co-founding 2 companies which didn't survive the storms of economic tribulations. They acted as great learning points in my career and helped me to get hands-on experience in Business Model Innovation, Customer engagement, Story telling & Ideation processes.

I was a speaker at numerous avenues giving talks on technical & behavioural topics.

Singapore Government Private Cloud Service Development & Delivery. Responsibilities include end to end product management for GPC Self-Service Portal & Service development team.

Key activities include latest software releases, SSP portal enhancements & bug fixes, adding new services to GPC, User surveys, Customer engagement, Customer facing documentation updates, Coordinating with Ops, billing and various other teams & stakeholders to ensure optimal Service delivery & Customer delight.

Product Owner for internal landing page of Bosch Cloud Platforms globally. Responsibilities include managing stakeholder requirements, conducting customer interviews, usability testing, conceptualizing MVPs, defining OKRs and roadmaps, managing product backlog and delivery via agile scrum based sprints.

Oct 2007 - Aug 2011

Worked in India, Singapore and Malaysia. Team Lead for Software QA Automation team for Lenovo ThinkPad products. Responsibilities include working closely with Japanese customers, requirements gathering, developing automation scripts and tools, leading customer delivery, presenting data driven quarterly reports.
